Brain Injury Association of Illinois
The Brain Injury Association of Illinois (BIA of IL) is a not-for-profit, statewide membership organization comprised of people with brain injuries, family members, friends and professionals. BIA of IL is part of a network of brain injury associations across the United States, and is a subsidiary of the national Brain Injury Association, Inc. (BIA) which was founded in 1980. The BIA of IL is the only organization in Illinois serving individuals with TBI, their families and professionals who treat them and is dedicated to providing information, advocacy, and support.

IVCIL
The Illinois Valley Center for Independent Living (IVCIL) is a nonprofit service and advocacy organization that assists persons with disabilities in opening doors to their independence. IVCIL provides services for persons with disabilities, their families, and the community in Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall, Putnam, and Stark counties.

Brain Trauma Foundation
The Brain Trauma Foundation was founded to improve the outcome of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) patients by developing best practice guidelines, conducting clinical research and educating medical personnel.

Brain Injury Association of America
Founded in 1980, the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA) is the leading national organization serving and representing individuals, families and professionals who are touched by a life-altering, often devastating, traumatic brain injury (TBI). Together with its network of more than 40 chartered state affiliates, as well as hundreds of local chapters and support groups across the country, the BIAA provides information, education and support to assist the 3.17 million Americans currently living with traumatic brain injury and their families. National Stroke Association

Brain Injury Group, Inc.
Our Support group was started in August of 1982 in Peoria, IL. For many years we were known as the Heart of Illinois Head Injury Support Group, Inc. Several years ago the Support Groups from the National level all the way down to the local Groups changed or added names to make people more aware of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). At that time we added the name of Brain Injury Group, Inc., or B.I.G., Inc.

Fulton County Brain Injury Support Group
On September 11, 2004 Steve Love was in a car accident, his life was forever changed. He received a traumatic brain injury, TBI, on that day. He started to attend the Brain Injury Group of Peoria. He had a great love for Fulton County and know there were a number of brain injury survivors lived within Fulton County. In 2005, He set out to start the Fulton County Brain Injury Support Group. The First Christian Church at 215 W Elm St, Canton heard about the support group starting and offered the use of their church.

National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research
The National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) provides leadership and support for a comprehensive program of research related to the rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities. All of our programmatic efforts are aimed at improving the lives of individuals with disabilities from birth through adulthood.
